Te Atatu Association Football Sports and Social Club - SportAccess Gold
Te Atatu Association Football Sports and Social Club Inc. was one of the first clubs to start the SportAccess process and has developed an inclusive mixed ability team which plays all year and is fully included in all aspects of club life. They have been used as a best practice inclusion model for clubs throughout NZ and have presented at the national Halberg conference. Sir Murray attended the presentation of the plaque to this well-deserving club.

They have steps and a hoist available for disabled access into the lap and leisure pool. A ramp is available for access into the teaching pool. Manurewa Aquatic Centre Ngaa mahi a Rehia is focused on providing a facility that is accessible, with staff that have the necessary knowledge and understanding to assist and serve disabled people.
