Halberg Trust SportAccessHalberg Trust SportAccessThe Halberg Trust is committed to ensuring disabled people can participate in inclusive sport and physical recreation within their community. Halberg Trust SportAccess Objective is:To develop and increase accessible sports clubs and facilities that provide sustainable inclusive sport and physical recreation opportunities for disabled people. In collaboration with the Halberg Trust Sport Opportunity Adviser, representatives from the club or facility complete the Halberg Trust SportAccess Self Review to determine where the club or facility is currently at, identify any gaps, and provide for these gaps with the development and implementation of a No Exceptions Action Plan (NEAP).Halberg Trust SportAccess AwardHalberg Trust SportAccess will reward inclusive clubs and facilities that: A) have a long term commitment to promoting inclusion of people with a disability; B) complete a self review using Halberg Trust SportAccess; and C) develop and implement a No Exceptions Action Plan (NEAP). by providing a Halberg Trust SportAccess Award - Gold, Silver or Bronze. The club or facility is encouraged to progress through the levels with the vision of achieveing a Halberg Trust SportAccess Award - Gold to proudly display at their club or facility.
