Halberg Trust Activity Fund

Halberg Trust Activity Fund

The Halberg Trust Activity Fund provides grants to enable young disabled people to participate in inclusive sport and physical recreation within their community.

The main goal is to support activities that are regular, ongoing, build skills and confidence, remove barriers and are fun!

The Activity Fund is one example of the Trust’s commitment to getting more disabled people to be more active, more often.

The Trust’s major initiative is the Halberg Trust Sport Opportunity Programme. The Programme is delivered by Sport Opportunity Advisers who work within the Regional Sports Trusts located throughout New Zealand. The Advisers and Regional Sports Trust staff work together to achieve the Halberg Trusts goals.
